Tupac was at the top of his acting and rapping career. Tupac made his big screen debut as the violent and dangerous character Bishop in Ernest Dickerson's "Juice". He went on to play "Lucky" opposite Janet Jackson in John Singleton's "Poetic Justice". Tupac also starred in the box office hit "Above the Rim" and in "Gridlock'd", written and directed by Vondie Curtis Hall, opposite Tim Roth and Thandy Newton. Days before his death, Tupac wrapped filming on "Gang Related". He was also finishing the score for a film depicting the life of his mother Afeni Shakur, optioned by actor/producer Jasmine Guy. Tupac's last movie is entitled "Gang Related". It stars Jim Belushi and Tupac Shakur as two detectives at a metropolitan police department. These two detectives get in trouble with the law and seek to cover up their crime. When the police department wants answers these detectives end up desperate to find a suspect on which to pin the crime on. Gang Related is Tupac's last starring role. Also, Tupac had just finished with the filming of "Gang Related" before he was shot in Las Vegas.
